I have finished a few books since last week. I can’t tell you how good it feels to be able to read so much and not feel burned out by it. The reading slump that I was in for years is no more!
I started reading Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant. It is a horror novel about killer mermaids. Yes, you heard me correctly, killer mermaids. I did read the novella before I started this one and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
I finished Haunting Adeline over the weekend and so I started the second one in the duet, Hunting Adeline. Again, if you are planning on reading this one check your trigger warnings. This one if you can believe it is darker than the first. I’ve read one of the first dark scenes and it is no joke. I am invested in the story though and I want to know what happens. This is how it always happens, I get invested and then no matter what I have to know.
