Sip Read Love has been a dream of mine even before it had its name. I love blogs. I love to read what the blogger has to say and I love finding something new to try. My favorite blogs usually have something to do with travel, books, and being a mommy.
I knew stepping into the world of blogging that I wanted to do a book review blog. I went to the RT Convention this year in Las Vegas and met with a lot of different people inside the romance book world. They inspired me and opened my mind to the possibility of being a romance book blogger.
The flight back home I started writing down my ideas and the name Sip Read Love came to mind. I knew in that moment I would be embracing my love of sipping something whether it be alcoholic or not, while reading something romantic within the blog.
Never in a million years did I think I would be launching the blog by the end of summer. However, we are here to start this blogging journey together.
One of the important things I did want to cover is the rating system and how the blog is set up. I want all my readers to get the best experience that they possibly can. So I organized it into five categories: sweet tea, coffee, merlot, dirty martini, and the shot. Each of these categories will contain book reviews that I think reflect that drink.
|Sweet Tea||Clean romances|
|Coffee||Romances with some kissing and implication of the hot and steamy|
|Merlot||What I consider classy but hot and steamy romance|
|Dirty Martini||Hot and steamy to infinity|
|Shot||Romances that may not be for everyone but still really fun or intriguing reads.|
You will not only be able to scroll through the main blog to find everything but you will be able to click on the specific drink that you are craving. That way you can see everything that I have reviewed under that category. However, please feel free to explore!
I seriously can’t wait to get this book blog party started!

I’m here because of Ava Vixion’s recommendation via Facebook. I’m a writer but not in the romance genre, although I’ve done extensive reading in that vein, and I know several people who write in that genre.
Best of luck, Gina, with your blog! I’ll be checking back with you to read your reviews.
Thank you so much for visiting! I will be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Congrats Gina. Paul has been telling me about your goal to write this blog. I’ll be checking in on you. Bree (EVault co-worker)
