When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger

Summary: (From Goodreads)New York Times bestselling author Lauren Weisberger returns with a novel starring one of her favorite characters from The Devil Wears Prada—Emily Charlton, first assistant to Miranda Priestly, now a highly successful image consultant who’s just landed the client of a lifetime...Emily, Karolina, and Miriam make an unlikely trio, but they desperately need each other. Together, they’ll navigate the social landmines of life in America’s favorite suburb on steroids, revealing the truths—and the lies—that simmer just below the glittering surface. With her signature biting style, Lauren Weisberger offers a dazzling look into another sexy, over-the-top world, where nothing is as it appears.

Review:  This book is the third book in the Devil Wears Prada series.  I will admit that I didn’t read the first two books in the series, but even without that foundation, this book stands on it’s own.  I immediately fell in love with the lead characters and their struggle to hit the mark of perfection in this suburban jungle.  The book changes point of view between the three lead characters, and the layers of their story perfectly weave together to keep you interested throughout the whole book.  I am always a fan of the “phoenix rising from the ashes” type story, but this one tells the tale of strength and courage with the perfect amount of humor thrown in.  This was a very entertaining read and I will absolutely go back and read the first two books of the series now.
