I’m in love with my best friend.
Lie.
I’m in love with my enemy.
Truth.

But they’re the same.
They. Are. The. Same.
Lines in my world are blurry between fantasy and reality.
Truth and lies. Love and hate.

Copeland Justice is my enemy. My once best friend. The sadist in my heart plucking and pulling at every thread of who I am until I’m unraveled at his feet.
His mouth says he hates me. His eyes burn with animosity for me. His heart beats for someone else.

But Copeland Justice is the best liar of us all.

Review:

I could not put down Wicked Lies Boys Tell the whole day I started it. The depth of emotion between Cope and Penn swallowed me right up. I was addicted to their story and wanting to know what happened next. Four hours of my life were spent devouring this book.

Angst. There is a lot of angst in this book and yes they are seniors in high school but it is an emotion that is built on. The characters all seem to have a bit flowing inside them but it is balanced out by the good. They all want something better for themselves and they all want to be loved. They want to feel the love and acceptance that comes with that love.

What I loved too is that even though this is a friends to enemies storyline, Penn and Cope had a deep friendship before the fallout. There was a reason they weren’t friends for two years. Yet the foundation of a romance was there. It just wasn’t able to be understood by the characters until they came back together again and they were older.

This is probably one of my favorite reads of the summer and possibly the year. I loved it. I wish I had more of it to read. Could we have some novellas please??
