Book Review: Ten Reasons to Stay by Sabrina Jeffries

It took me a matter of hours to charge through this novella. I am a huge fan of Sabrina Jeffries, and having met her at the RT Convention this year, I fell in love with her a little bit more with this book. I’m excited to explore more of her novels.

Ten Reasons to Stay is a part of her School for Heiresses series. Colin Hunt, the hero, in this novella was one of the characters I was dying to know about and although I was a bit disappointed he and Eliza didn’t get a whole novel themselves; it definitely kept my attention. It was the perfect beach day read and gave me some steamy and some sweet words to devour. I just wish it had been longer. I didn’t want the scenario to move so quickly. The characters could have been developed so much better with a bit more time. Overall, I think that this book delivers the sweet and spicy in a short amount of time.

Favorite Words: “So this was what it felt like to be thoroughly kissed: hot and heady and too tempting for words. Even his whisker stubble scraping her soft cheek and the threat of his pistol merely reminded her he was a man, and not some local lad trying to steal a kiss at a picnic.”
